When a fire destroyed much of our flat in 1997,
Hildie wanted to know how my painting collection fared -
not good I told her, and she said thank God!

I got the FBI car emerging from the earth tone melting time-space warp
painting at the Marin Flea Market and Hildie was very upset I paid
$10.00 for it. Even a dollar was too much...
